How many animals have gone extinct in the past century? What were the reasons?

Students will be researching about animals and creating a shadow box of an extinct animal of their choice. Students will reflect and put into practice how to use art as a tool to inform and inspire change in others.

In this trimester, students will learn about composition. They will differentiate and create a foreground, middleground and background.
